I had a customer ask me this question;

Ryan...is the drive through wash hard on the paint with the chemicals?

So I thought I would post my response, just in case anyone else is curious;

This was the fourth annual Bikini Carwash,raising money for breast cancer research.
The event was was held in South Surrey / White Rock at Splashes in the Surrey Auto Mall.
A huge thanks to Thrifty Foods, Russell Beer and 99.3 the Fox for coming out and supporting us.
We raised $1000 for the BC Cancer Foundation. Congratulations to everyone who helped out.

Saturday July 23rd, Come Down To Splashes and Help Us Raise Money for the BC Cancer Foundation. Help us support cancer prevention, screening and early detection, diagnosis and treatment services, support programs, community programs, research and education.

We just installed a new system on our  Wash World Touch Less Car Wash.

It is called Virtual Attendant and in short it means that our wash is even better than before.
Occasionally a wash will bump into a mirror, trailer hitch or bike rack. This would cause the system to shut down and a vehicle would be left unwashed. Plus the wash would be out of order until a technition could come and reset it.

With the Virtual Wash Attendant the wash is equipped with much more effective vehicle sizing equipment. And if for some reason the wash does bump anything it will reset, adjust and automatically continue washing.

Myth Busters scored a point for the enterprizing engineer by proving that the only money you'll save motoring around in a dirty car is quarters at the car wash. That means almost 1/3 of a pound of dirt comes off each car washed.
If every resident of White Rock and South Surrey washed their car at home in one month four times this much waste would go staight into the sewer system.
